Chicken tandoori. Easy and Quick.

India's most loved Chicken dish is Chicken Tandoori. For the authentic tandoori you need a clay tandoor. But at home, you can still make yummy tandoori in your OTG oven or convection microwave with only a few ingredients.



Ingredients: Big pieces of Chicken with bones(I used chicken drumsticks), yogurt, Chicken tandoori masala, Ginger garlic paste, Kashmiri mirch powder, turmeric, salt and lemon juice.

You will get the chicken tandoori masala at any grocery store if you are in India and if you are outside India, you will get chicken tandoori masala and all other spices at your neighborhood Indian store or supermarket.

Make tiny slits on the chicken pieces for the spices to enter and marinate the chicken pieces overnight with all the ingredients.



Arrange them and put inside the preheated oven for 45 minutes at 375- 425 degree Fahrenheit or 180-200 degree Celsius in microwave in convection mode ,after 30 minutes you can change it to microwave+grill mode. 


Flip the pieces at an interval of  30 mins. Time taken may differ.
Finally, broil for 5-10 minutes for that smoky flavor.
